Russian Circles sign to Suicide Squeeze, prep new album
Chicago-based indie-rock band Russian Circles hopes to release its next album in spring or summer of next year. It will come via Suicide Squeeze, the label the band has now moved over to from Flameshovel. That's not the only thing new with the band. Bassist Colin DeKuiper has exited Russian Circles and is being temporarily replaced by Brian Cook, who used to be in Botch and currently also plays in These Arms Are Snakes. That incarnation of Russian Circles is currently in the studio with producer Matt Bayles, who has also worked with Minus the Bear. The new album will be the follow-up to 2006's Enter.
Russian Circles has three more shows scheduled to finish out 2007.

12/13 Chicago, Illinois: Double Door
12/15 Austin, Texas: Emo's, Jr.
