New album, tour plans take shape for Russian Circles

Chicago avant-rock duo Russian Circles is all done with its next album. Entitled Station, the record is slated for a May 6 release via Suicide Squeeze. Guitarist Mike Sullivan and drummer Dave Turncrantz were joined on the album by bassist Brian Cook, who has also played with Botch and These Arms are Snakes. Station was produced by Matt Bayles, who has worked with Minus the Bear and Isis in the past. Plenty of upcoming dates are on tap for Russian Circles including shows with the likes of Dalek and Red Sparowes.
