As they say on the streets of Compton, "Another week, another band warning a politician to stop using their music. Also, bitches ain't shit." This week it's Rush warning Rand Paul to stop using their music, as the pint-sized Kentucky politician has been recently playing the Canadian power-trio's "Spirit of the Radio," among others on his campaign stops.
For the time being, it seems like Paul has listened, as he killed a YouTube video featuring Rush and has reportedly stopped playing the band's songs at rallies. It's ironic, though, that Paul would infringe on Rush's (copy)rights since the basis of his campaign is that he hates any intrusion by anyone on anyone. I mean, he's cool stealing from Rush, but he's uncool with the Civil Rights act? He's nearly as weird as his dad. [Spinner]
