Rumors About Kate Moss/Jamie Hince Band Surface Again

Alison Mosshart is busy gallivanting around the world with Jack White and the Dead Weather, so it looks like her partner in the Kills, Jamie Hince, is planning a side project of his own. Similar rumors have surfaced before, but it’s looking more and more likely that the singer/guitarist is getting a band together with his celebrity girlfriend, Kate Moss.

According to tabloid rumors, Hince has got a new five-piece band together, and may have already recorded a version of a Velvet Underground song. Moss has worked as a singer before, so it wouldn’t be a total leap into the unknown, although what her role in this band is (if it even exists) doesn’t seem clear at the present time.

Naturally, the Daily Star has an “anonymous source” on hand to fill us in on all the details: “Kate has an amazing voice,” said the unnamed person. “This will change the way people think of her. She was born to be a rock 'n’ roll star.” There’s even speculation that a naked in bed John-and-Yoko style photo will adorn the cover of a proposed single by the Hince/Moss band.
