Rumor: New Pixies Release, <i>Minotaur</i> to Drop in June
This is a rumor, meaning that no one connected with the band in any way has signed off on this, but onethirtybpm found this page on the website of Artists in Residence, a design collective that makes fancy music and art packages; they worked on the Ghosts I-IV deluxe editions for Nine Inch Nails, for example.
Since there's been no kind of official word on this, this could turn out to be something (a new album, a boxset) or nothing, with odds leaning just slightly in favor of nothing. Only time (or a press release) will tell.

I'd be shocked if this news was true.
A new album would be a hell of a surprise, especially since they've spent the last 5 years saying no way.
According to their Facebook page there will be an announcement tomorrow.

Yeah, they've been saying no to an album...just like they said no to a tour and getting back together for 12 years. If the money is there, they will produce.
