Royce Da 5'9" Dropping 'Success Is Certain' In April
One of the more underrated MCs of our time has to be Royce Da 5'9", if only because his solo output tends to be overlooked, at least recently, for his efforts with others. I mean, how many heads became more familiar with the Detroit spitter when he linked with Eminem on "Bad Meets Evil" on The Slim Shady LP? I thought so. But that, along with delays and label drama, hasn't stopped Nickel-Nine from furthering his solo career. He just announced today that he will be dropping Success Is Certain this April. It will be his fifth official album -- that's not counting mixtapes or EPs -- as well as the sequel to 2004's Death Is Certain.
Success Is Certain is due out April 26.
