February 5 is the scheduled American release of The Thrill Of It All: A Visual History, a two-disc Roxy Music concert DVD. The collection spans the band's first ten years, beginning in 1972. The anthology contains a number of Top of the Pops appearances as well as early-'80s promotional videos and an appearance with ABBA. One hopes someone YouTubes at least one of the three aforementioned segments.

The second disc isn't quite as good, but it does have Song For Europe and Jealous Guy. FYI I've seen some of the first disc clips on youtube. Still might get the DVD since Mother of Pearl was not anywhere to be found last time I checked. |

honestly i sorta would have preferred they leave this at the first disc and charge half as much. and i agree, roxy music fans aren't rolling as deep as one would think. ps this was released in Europe and Australia some time ago |
I could sort of care less about disc 2, but the disc 1 list is making me drool. Where's the legion of Roxy Music fans these days? I feel like they are kind of ignored when it comes to "best of the era" discussions. But holy hell did they record some good songs. No "If There is Something" though, bummer.
