Rose reportedly delivers album to Geffen; thirsty nation raises collective eyebrow

A nation breathless with anticipation at the prospect of a free soda and the return of a rock god rejoiced today, as TheRockRadio.com reported that Axl Rose has delivered a finished version of Chinese Democracy to executives at Geffen Records. Never mind that the website in question is run by two guys in Cyprus working from yet another website called AllYourTV.com, who only recently fell for an April Fool’s Day joke about Amy Winehouse starring on Dr. Who. Something about this one just feels right. Maybe the stars are aligned, and that great Big Foot of an album will finally be released. Hope springs eternal, if only to see how the good folks at Dr Pepper coordinate handing out a free can of soda to the entire United States. [Idolator]
