Roots Manuva Announces New Album, '4everevolution'

Roots Manuva has never been the kind of artist to find a lane and stay in it. Over the course of his previous seven albums, he has used hip-hop as a vehicle to explore dub, reggae, disco, and other genres. And rather than embark on a completely new venture, the South London resident has allowed all of his influences to converge on his eighth record, 4everevolution. He tries out some new things, too, including straight-up funk and even balladeering. He has also outsourced some of his production as Ricky Ranking, DJ MK, and Daddy Kope provide some beats. Guest vocalists on the album include Rokhsan, Spikey T, Elan Tamara, and Skin and Cass Lewis, of Skunk Anansie.
