Ronnie Wood Says Rolling Stones To Enter Studio Soon

Due to this year being the Rolling Stones’ 50th in existence, we’ve been hearing a lot from the band lately, including news on a retrospective book and a similar documentary. And now, longtime (but not original) Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has some news on the band’s upcoming recording stint. According to Billboard, Wood says the band will be hitting the studio later in April “to just throw some ideas around.” If the sessions lead to studio album, we’re talking the band’s first LP proper since 2005’s A Bigger Bang (though the Mick Jagger-led supergroup SuperHeavy released their self-titled debut last September).
