The originator of the devil horns hand gesture Ronnie James Dio has announced he is working on an autobiography. The book will cover most of Dio's career, including his stint as the lead singer of Black Sabbath and his solo career. Those expecting a drug-fueled tell-all will probably be disappointed, since Dio is already promising that the tales of excess will be kept to a minimum.
“I’ve tried to live my life on a very straight path,’ he says. ‘I’m not Nikki Sixx or people who go over the edge. That’s alluring to a lot of people, but I’m sure being a little bit different is alluring to some other people, too.”
Dio expects his book to be out sometime next year. [Classic Rock]
