Throughout the course of the year, The Rolling Stones are going to reissue 14 of their albums, which (by my count) is about half of their discography. All of the albums are going to be remastered, and will be released in three batches. Looking at the list of planned rereleases, it appears that they've chosen the better half of their work:
Released May 4:
Sticky Fingers
Goats Head Soup
It's Only Rock 'N' Roll
Black And Blue
Released June 8:
Some Girls
Emotional Rescue
Tattoo You
Undercover
Released July 13:
Dirty Work
Steel Wheels
Voodoo Lounge
Bridges To Babylon
A Bigger Bang
[EMI]
The Stones only have like 5-7 good albums, and only two of them are here (Sticky Fingers, Some Girls)
SOME of these albums (certainly not the latter batch) would qualify for their best....on Virgin.
Their ABKCO albums reissued over the past decade or so would have to arguably be included if you were to truly have the band's BEST albums.
