Living legends the Rolling Stones have plans to release GRRR!, a new greatest hits compilation, on Nov. 13. Aside from featuring the classics you already know, the album will contain two songs that'll serve as the first new Stones recordings since their 2005 album, A Bigger Bang.
The tracks--"One Last Shot" and "Gloom and Doom"--will be featured alongside the other tunes, spanning a number of different packages: a 3-CD, 50-track collection with a 24-page booklet; a deluxe edition with a 36-page hardback booklet and five postcards; a 4-CD, 80-song super deluxe edition with a bonus CD and poster; and a 50-track, 12-inch vinyl box set.
So yeah, The Rolling Stones are doing it pretty big. "Gloom" and "Shot" were recorded by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood in Paris. GRRR! will also feature new artwork from longtime Stones collaborator Walton Ford. [Billboard]
