Rolling Stones Announce Shows In London And Newark

After the rumors that have been floating around since late August, this morning, The Rolling Stones finally announced through a YouTube video that they’ll be playing four dates this year in honor of their 50th anniversary.

The four shows, two in London and two in Newark, will be the band’s first live performance since the end of 2007’s Bigger Bang tour. 

In addition to the tour, the Stones released a new single, “Doom and Gloom,” last week and on Nov. 13, will be releasing another greatest hits compilation titled GRRR!.

Additional tour dates have yet to be announced but judging by the Stones history, these arena shows could be the beginning of something big. Stones fans rejoice!
