Rolling Stone Categorizes Love's Sad Behavior As Wild

Courtney Love just doesn't have it together, but Rolling Stone is selling the singer's recent New York Times interview as "wild." The flagship of music journalism chose to focus on the fact that she gave an unscheduled, and perhaps unwanted, performance in the lobby of the Mercer Hotel, and that she met reporter Eric Wilson an hour later, altered and naked. The Times piece, as you might expect, takes a different viewpoint. Wilson reports the behavior, but stops far short of glamorizing it with an adjective like "wild." There really isn't anything rebellious or cool about being estranged from your daughter and having to apologize for taking a Zoloft with a cocktail. Wilson's article conveys this. Check it out here.[Rolling Stone]

When she is dead, as she will be soon, we are all going to feel bad because we were complicit in encouraging this behavior.
