Rock Memoirs Hitting New Low: Rod Stewart Writing Autobiography

The bad news: It seems like the rock memoir deluge isn’t likely to end for at least the next few years. The good news: The rock memoir market is about collapse, as book companies are starting to scrape the barrel for untold stories from famous rockers. Case in point: Rod Stewart is the latest musician to get a memoir deal, and while he probably has some rad stories about Eiffel Towering with Ron Wood in the ’70s, we’re not exactly itching for him to detail how his label pushed him into recording those 15 albums of standards he’s been doing. Stewart’s book is due out in fall 2012. [Yahoo]
