Rock Band Bamboozled By Girl With Flute

For anyone who has been embarassed that their eleven-year old nephew can beat them head to head on "Colony of Birchman," even though he can't even play "Smoke On the Water" on a real guitar, here's something to temporarily ease your pain until the next time you check out your high scores.

A young lady figured out that the microphone for Rock Band can be tricked by simply playing the notes on her flute. The video features her making Avenged Sevenfold sound like music worth actually listening to, a fairly impressive feat. Admittedly, to perform this trick you'd have to actually learn the notes being sung and transpose them to your instrument of choice. Still, score one for real musicians everywhere. [Gizmodo]
