The MTV Games blog has a few new details regarding the improved gameplay and instruments of Rock Band 2. Namely, that the bass drum pedal doesn’t fall off (that’s helpful), there’s an improved drum training mode (that’s sorta helpful), and a daily Battle of the Bands competition, which will offer varying songs and options, and will often feature free songs as the prize for winning.
Rock Band 2 is out on September 14 for Xbox 360, and in October for PS3, the Wii, and PS2. [MTV Games]
