Robotanists Release Covers Album Of Radiohead’s ‘The King Of Limbs’

Twenty-four hours. One day. That’s all it took for Robotanists to cover Radiohead’s latest album, The King of Limbs, that was released, oh, right, three days ago. So while most of us were bickering about the album in this post, the Los Angeles quartet was in the studio hammering out their own versions of The King of Limbs. Some of the covers are pretty impressive as singer Sarah Ellquist’s ghostly vocals add a haunting beauty — just as they did when the band reinterpreted, among others, Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind.” But that being stated, their covers can’t really compare to the original album, which is just great.
