Someone needs to stop Robert Pollard

Via: Pitchfork
This is starting to get out of hand. Someone needs to sit Bob Pollard down and have a serious discussion with him about the virtues of keeping people wanting more. Last year the former Guided By Voices frontman released two solo LPs and roughly a half-dozen or so projects for his Fading Captain series. This year promises to be just as prolific: It's still only January and we've already got three confirmed releases for Pollard.
First on the list is Silverfish Trivia, originally to be Pollard's next Merge full-length, but now a seven-song mini-LP that will see release on Pollard's new label, Prom Is Coming. You'll be able to pick yours up on April 17.
Next, in July, Pollard will be teaming up with the Tobia brothers for another Circus Devils release. Sgt. Disco will be released by Ipecac Recordings and apparently sounds "sort of like an indie-rock Fantomas," according to Pollard's publicist.
Finally, Pollard has twenty-eight songs in the can for his next Merge full-length, which is tentatively titled Standard Gargoyle Decisions. No release date has been set for the disc as yet, but sometime in September is a possibility.
Silverfish Trivia :
01 Come Outside
02 Circle Saw Boys Club
03 Wickerman Smile
04 Touched to Be Sure
05 Waves, Etc.
06 Cats Love a Parade
07 Speak in Many Colors

Three albums a year is a perfect amount of Pollard! The guy can't help that when he takes a shit he writes 3 songs (and two of them are good).
