Dayton, Ohio's, greatest quadruple threat (songwriting, basketball, baseball, drinking), i.e. Robert Pollard, enters the world of coffee table books with "Town of Mirrors: The Reassembled Imagery of Robert Pollard." His work has already been exhibited at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and at Studio Dante in New York, which is owned by Micheal Imperioli, a.k.a Christopher from "The Sopranos." The book with more than 180 of his favorite collages is due in August. If you want an idea of what his art is like, check out the cover to just about any Guided By Voices album. He did most of them. His first solo album for his label Guided By Voices Inc. is due in June and is titled, Robert Pollard is Off to Business.
