Robert Plant Performs, Sings Doo-Wop On ‘Fallon’

    Led Zeppelin-frontman Robert Plant may be getting along in age, but the singer seems as vital as ever having just released his ninth solo album, Lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar, and just a couple days ago acting as the musical guest and interviewee on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Here he is performing rocking new album cuts “Turn It Up” and “Rainbow”:


    During his interview with the legendary rock star, Fallon recruited Plant to sing some classic doo-wop, specifically Gene Chandler’s “Duke of Earl,” with the assistance of an iPad looping app and a little back-up from the Roots. It’s actually a lot of fun. Here’s a clip:
