The members of Yo La Tengo are clearly enamored with the Popular Songs track “Here to Fall,” and have requested a number of artists to remix the track. The band just appeared at the Coachella festival this past weekend, and it looks like the promotional duties for the record are going to stretch on for some time yet.
De La Soul, Pete Rock and RJD2 are the artists who have contributed versions of the song to an EP, which is available to preorder now on 12-inch single or CD from the Matador website. This isn’t the first time the band has indulged in such a project of course—check out the Kevin Shields remix of “Autumn Sweater” below.
