Weezer fans (who are legion, and spread across different generations) will be happy to hear of the announcement of Alone - The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo. That's a collection of the main Weezer man's musical sketches spanning from 1992 to 2007. It's set for release via Geffen on December 11. So get ready for some starkly emotional outpourings about crushes on Asian girls and the tiring side effects of doing the night thing. The CD also has some sort of connection to a book Cuomo is working on. He originally wanted to release both at the same time, but decided to simply go with the demos for now, as completion of the book might still be years away. For more information on demos, books, Weezer, and the ways of the world, check out the blog posts over at Cuomo's MySpace.
