R.I.P. Devendra Banhart's beard

Devendra Banhart recently posted to his MySpace that he is working on a new record, and along with the announcement, he posted pictures of himself, newly sans-beard. [via Stereogum]

I'm sure Banhart is having less trouble going through security (considering he looked like the Unabomber), but everyone knows his beard was fake. Clell Tickle ripped it off.
