According to MSN, 27-year-old Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London home this morning. We don’t know much else beyond that as the story is still developing. We will update this page when more information becomes available.
We previously reported on Winehouse last month when she canceled the remainder of her tour after she was booed during her comeback show. A spokesman for the singer said that she had to “withdraw from all scheduled performances” and that everyone “involved wishes to do everything they can to help her return to her best and she will be given as long as it takes for this to happen.”
Winehouse’s last album, Back to Black, was released in 2006. It went double platinum in the U.S. and produced such hit singles as “Rehab” and “You Know I’m No Good.” The album also netted the singer five Grammy Awards.
