Rihanna to Testify in Chris Brown Assualt Case

After a lot of starts and stops and lawyers jockeying for position, the first hearing in the Chris Brown assault case is set to happen on June 22. Brown faces assault and criminal threat charges stemming from a February incident involving his then girlfriend Rihanna. Rihanna has remained mum on what happened, but on June 22, she will have to face Brown in court as a part of the first hearing.

Rihanna was served with a subpoena yesterday, and reports say she fully intends to cooperate with the prosecutors' case. Brown pleaded not guilty in April. [Angry Ape]
