Ridiculous Smiths Box Set Due Out On October
This is probably the most ostentatious box set we've heard of in quite some time: On Oct. 3, The Smiths are releasing The Smiths Complete - Deluxe Collectors Box Set, a set that collects all four of the band's studio albums, 25 seven-inch singles (!), three comps, and one live album. There's also a DVD of the band's videos, and prints for all the album covers. All of the albums will be on mini-LP CDs and 180-gram vinyl. This thing is huge, obviously, so it will be limited to only 2500 copies. However, the eight album set will be out as a CD box set and vinyl editions. More details are over here. [P4K]
