Richard Swift has been a busy man since the release earlier this year of his album Dressed Up for the Letdown, and he's not about to slow up anytime soon. From mid-August into early September, he'll be the opening act on Wilco's massive tour. The two acts met up when both appeared recently on Later With Jools Holland, Swift so impressing the Wilco boys that the band invited him to tour with them. Swift is also finishing up the first album from his more electronic-leading side project, appropriately titled Instruments of Science & Technology. "Rocker doing electro side project" doesn't exactly have the best track record (Neil Young's Trans anyone? No? Understandable), but we'll hold off any judgment until we here some material from the project.Head on after the jump for where you can catch Richard Swift opening for Wilco...
