We've known for a while that R.E.M. would be making appearances at South by Southwest and Langerado. But now the band has fleshed out a more extensive North American tour itinerary. Always a band to take younger acts that it admires out on the road, R.E.M. will be joined on this trek by the stellar opening double bill of the National and Modest Mouse.
