Regina Spektor Hosts Internet Listening Party for ‘Begin to Hope’

While it might sound a bit preposterous coming from an online music magazine, this whole internet thing is starting to get a bit out of hand. In support of her forthcoming major label debut, Begin to Hope due out on June 13, Sire records has set up an online interactive listening party for prodigious pianist Regina Spektor on the popular 3D online world Second Life.  For those unfamiliar, Second Life members, known as residents, build and own their own content in this interactive world.  Anyone who creates a free basic membership will be able to visit a virtual New York City loft where the album will be playing in the background. Feel free to sign up and discuss your thoughts on Spektors new expanded repertoirewhich now includes the electric guitar and drum machinewith fellow shut-ins who happen to be present.
