Redman happy to be back in the game

Last week, Prefix head honcho Dave "My writers also have to do my dishes" Park said that hip-hop needs Redman.
While we can't support his treatment of the help or his continuous success in quashing our efforts to unionize, we do think he's onto something with the Redman thing. With most emcees taking themselves way too seriously these days, the ol' deodorant pusher came back to do his thing with his new record, Red Gone Wild: Thee Album, and he still does it surprisingly well.
He's got more to say about his new record here, where he -- of course -- weighs in on the "Hip-hop is Dead" issue as well.
And just for fun, here's another track from his new record.
Redman: "Walk In Gutta" [feat. Erick Sermon, Keith Murray and Biz Markie]
