The trend is getting so big now that lucky rock fans in Los Angeles will have the chance to see two such recreations in one night. Legendary rockers Redd Kross have been announced as the opening band for Sonic Youth's show July 20 at the Greek Theatre in L.A. Sonic Youth, of course, will be performing their landmark album Daydream Nation all the way through. Redd Kross will be performing their 1982 debut Born Innocent. No word on whether the band plans to repeat the feat any more times, but fans can check in at the band's website to keep an eye on that possibility.
