The real Tuesday Weld is an actress best known for her roles in such films as Play it as it Lays and Looking for Mr. Goodbar. The Real Tuesday Weld is a musical venture helmed by Stephen Coates. Coates is slated to release his next Tuesday Weld album, The London Book of the Dead, August 28 via Six Degrees Records. The album takes its name from the classic Tibetan tract Bardo Thodol, updating its setting to Coates' English hometown. Coates was probably thinking about cycles of life and death because last year he became a father at the same time his own father passed away. Coates' music calls to mind an eclectic mix of Brit rock, Serge Gainsbourg, and Tin Pan Alley singer-songwriters. Follow on after the jump for the tracklist for The London Book of the Dead...1.
