Real Estate’s Days is almost upon us, and it makes for a perfect soundtrack for the leafy fall weather (although it’s around 80 degree outside at present here in New York City, but that’s not likely to last much longer). The band has signed to Domino and is likely to enjoy a significant rise in popularity as a result, but the increase in audience will mainly be due to the gorgeous melodies that take hold as Days progresses. Anyone who has heard “It’s Real” and “Green Aisles” from the album will have felt the contrasting moods of this record already, which range from wistful melancholia to light-filled uptempo indie-rock. NPR is streaming the album in full for a limited time ahead of its release, head over here to check it out.
