Rapidshare To Offer New Song-Selling Feature
The controversial Switzerland-based file-hosting site Rapidshare has recently undergone a series of major changes to its subscription policy in hopes of curtailing further copyright issues. One major change is the new ability to utilize a license manager so that users may sell their files through the site. The license manager feature should essentially work something like an Etsy for musicians meets Apple's iTunes Store, allowing artists to sell music files easily to listeners who will be able to download the music immediately to their computer for a set price.
