Columbia Records has announced Raphael Saadiq will be embarking on a fall tour starting in Seattle Nov. 16 and wrapping in Minneapolis exactly one month later. This comes on the heels of Saadiq’s summer festival appearances, which included dates at the Bonnaroo, Essence and Bumbershoot festivals.

All that came after Saadiq released the CD The Way I See It in 2008, which was popular in several markets and received praise in USA Today, Los Angeles Times, and Rolling Stone. Saadiq first rose to prominence under the name Raphael Wiggins in the R&B trio Tony! Toni! Toné! and went on to play in another R&B trio, Lucy Pearl, in the 1990s. For his upcoming tour, Janelle Monae and Anjulie will open. Dates are as follows:
