Raekwon talks <i>8 Diagrams</i>, <i>Cuban Linx II</i>

The rumors surrounding the perennially delayed followup to Raekwon's classic 1995 debut album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx probably won't be quashed by this XXL Mag interview with Rae. On it he discusses the problems he's encountered since signing with Dr. Dre's Aftermath label (but he doesn't offer any clear examples or definitive rebuke), the annoyance of fans who only think of his name next to Ghostface's (though he qualifies that it's cool for people to like whatever they like) and the specter of ODB on the latest Wu-Tang album, 8 Diagrams. Rae speaks of Cuban Linx 2 (apparently already completed as of months ago) as if it's a classic fait accompli, and seems pretty indignant with people who don't seem to share that sentiment; of course, judging by his and most other shaky Wu-Tang solo albums, it's gonna have to be heard to be believed.
