Raekwon Says He Has Two LPs Coming In 2011
We have actually known about half of Raekwon's plans for 2011 for some time now as he announced he would be dropping Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang in the fall of last year. But, per usual, we never actually got that album on time. And the Chef is now looking to release the "kung fu-heavy concept album" in March, according to a recent interview with VIBE. After that, though, Rae told the website/magazine that he's looking to bookend the year with a currently unnamed record that contains "more DJ-oriented and harmony-based" tracks. It's also set to feature production from Just Blaze and Kanye West, who will still apparently maintain the Wu-Tang sound. I'm just hoping that we get one of these albums before this year comes to an end, though two would obviously be fantastic.
