Radiohead working on In Rainbows follow-up

In an interview with the BBC, Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien revealed the band is working on the follow-up to its In Rainbows LP.

"We're still talking about doing some stuff and we're really excited about it. First we came off tour to do some writing and we wanted to just carry on doing it because it was so brilliant."

But as any Radiohead fan knows, the band working on material doesn’t mean an album is imminent, as it took them four years to finish In Rainbows, after completing Hail to the Thief, from material that was written as far back as 2000.

Meanwhile, the band is headed to Japan to finish off the remainder of its tour dates in support of In Rainbows. [BBC via Angry Ape]
