Radiohead Will Be Returning To The Studio

All Radiohead fans can breathe a sigh of relief as it seems that the band will be returning to the studio in September to work on their ninth album. In an interview with BBC Radio 6’s Mary Anne Hobbs, guitarist Jonny Greenwood said “we’re going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it’s sounding.”

In another inteview with Nashville Cream, Greenwood’s brother Colin made some similar statements in that the band will be heading back to the studio to “make a plan” for the followup of 2011’s King of Limbs.

This comes after a lengthy hiatus where the band has been focusing on solo endeavors with Thom Yorke focusing on Atoms For Peace, Jonny Greenwood scoring Paul Thomas Anderson’s film Inherent Vice, and Phil Selway working on his solo material.
