Radiohead announce North American tour dates

The good news is that Radiohead is finally hopping the pond for a visit to the colonies. The bad news is that they haven’t planned all that long a stay for the first trip. The band has released details for a month-long mini-tour that will take them from Florida to Texas in the month of May. Radiohead will return for a more extensive tour this summer, hitting Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. Until then, fans wanting an In Rainbows fix will also have a good occasion to have some barbeque or maybe see the St. Louis Arch. Tickets for the May shows go on sale on Thursday, and purchasing information can be found at the band’s website. The full list of May shows is as follows:

05.05 Cruzan Amphitheatre, West Palm Beach, FL
    05.06 Ford Amphitheatre, Tampa, FL
    05.08 Lakewood Amphitheatre, Atlanta, GA
05.09 Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, Charlotte, NC
05.11 Nissan Pavilion at Stone Ridge, Bristow, VA
05.14 Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, St. Louis, MO
05.17 Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Houston, TX
    05.18 Superpages.com Center, Dallas, TX

Dates and venues for the July tour will be posted as soon as they are announced.
