Radiohead sign to label

We would have loved to been in the bidding war meetings over this one. They caused quite a stir with the unique on-line only release of their latest album, In Rainbows, but Radiohead has decided to sign with a label after all.

Already home to Yorke's solo effort, The Erasure, XL will start where the on-line only release stopped. According to managing director Ben Beardsworth, In Rainbows "is a truly classic album and it deserves to reach a massive audience, well beyond that of download and boxset sales."
There is no release date as of yet for the physical version of the album but it is still available on-line and in boxset format.
