Radiohead Show In Toronto Cancelled After Stage Collapse

In sad news, tonight’s Radiohead concert at Toronto’s Toronto's Downsview Park has been cancelled after a stage collapsed, killing one person and injuring three others This happened mere minutes before fans were slated to enter the venue.

Victims were setting up a stage in the park when a “scaffolding-type structure collapsed” about 40 to 60 feet above the main stage area, according to Toronto fire Capt. Mike Strapko.

The incident occurred around 4 p.m., according to Toronto Police Service Constable Harrison Ford (no relation to the actor). Weather wasn’t a factor in the collapse.

A statement on Radiohead's website says that tickets will be refunded, and advises fans not to head down to the venue. More information to follow as it becomes available.
