Kevin DuBrow, lead singer of '80s metal band Quiet Riot, died Monday. He was fifty-two years old. Dubrow was found at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Clark County coroners office is still determining the cause of death.
DuBrow's death marks the second member of the original band to have died: Guitarist Randy Rhodes died in a tour accident with Ozzy Osbourne in 1982. The band had released the Rehab full-length last year and seemed to have finally gotten past the tensions that caused its break-up in the mid-1990s. The band had a number-one album with 1983's Metal Health and is perhaps best known for the album's lead single and Top 40 hit, "Cum on Feel the
Noize."
