Noise rock trio Qui has signed to Mike Patton's Ipecac label for the release of a new album Love's Miracle, due out on September 11th. Qui had been kicking heads in since 2001 around Los Angeles, but gained an extra boost of awesomeness late last year when David Yow (former vocalist of The Jesus Lizard) officially joined. I can't think of a better home for Qui than Ipecac - Yow is perhaps the only frontman more demented than Mike Patton. Last time I saw Qui live, he cut off locks of his hair while performing and handed them to the audience. Keep in mind this guy is 47 years old. [Who Signs to Ipecac? Qui Signs to Ipecac!
