Queen Latifah is being sued by not one, but two former staffers -- a makeup artist and a stylist -- for a total of one million dollars. Latifah's ex-stylist, Susan Moses, claims she's owed some $300,000; Roxanna Floyd is demanding $700,000 for work peformed between 2005 and 2008. But the suit itself is the least of the story. The tabloids are salivating over alleged threats from the two plaintiffs to reveal intimate secrets about Queen Latifah's life if they don't get the money they're seeking. The elephant in the room, of course, being Latifah's oft-discussed and debated sexuality.

However, lawyers for the two claim the pair are not the blackmailing, outing, super sleazebags they've been made out to be. The National Enquirer quotes one attorney as saying, “Whether Latifah is gay or straight has absolutely nothing to do with our clients' claims.” Then he probably winked at an invisible camera before going on to add, "Latifah’s personal life could become an issue in the case.”

I can only imagine that if you're giving statements to the National Enquirer, you're on the up-and-up. At any rate, no trial date has yet been announced. [Bossip]
