Q-Tip’s long-gestating sophomore solo album, The Renaissance, is reportedly slated for a November 4 release. The album’s first single, "Gettin' Up" has around the net for a while, and rumors of the album being imminent are apparently confirmed.

But as anyone who still has a pre-order of Kamaal the Abstract can tell you, Q-Tip release dates tend to be rather unpredictable (assuming the album gets released at all), so I’ll believe it when it’s in my hands.
