Q-Tip Interviewed By PBS' Tavis Smiley (Video)

Q-Tip stopped by Tavis Smiley's show on PBS for an interesting interview about his solo career and latest album, The Renaissance, the various label jumps he had to make to put the album out, and how he views his music. I still can't believe that record companies jerked him around for as long as they have, considering he's essentially been doing the jazz/hip-hop fusion since the jump. [NahRight]

I really hate Tavis Smiley, and it's all the fault of whoever put TVs on buses in Los Angeles. They play the same two-minute programmes over and over again, including bits of Tavis Smiley interviewing people. I have to see the same bit six or seven times a day.
