Pusha T Blasts Drake Over ‘Made In America’ Mishap

Two weeks ago at the Made In America festival in Philadelphia, the G.O.O.D. Music crew attempted to bring out 2 Chainz for a guest appearance during their set. Yet a miscommunication resulted in an awkward performance, with Tity Boi missing his cue and 2 Chainz not really knowing where to pick up the beat.

The next day, Drake decided to bring out 2 Chainz for “No Lie” during his Made In America set, and he quipped “Now, that’s how you bring out 2 Chainz!” The statement seems innocuous enough, but Pusha T isn’t too pleased with Drake’s remarks. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Pusha T said this:

“At the end of the day – I guess just speaking on our behalf – we don’t give a fuck what Drake says. Like, we don’t care. In regards to us, that shit doesn’t matter,” Pusha said. “That’s what the fuck we do – we don’t give a fuck. So, if that was the way you should’ve brought 2 Chainz out, then I’m glad Drake got to do it, and I’m glad that Chainz got the look, and I’m sure people were happy. Other than the shot thing, we don’t give a fuck. We definitely ain’t thinking about no shots.”

Pusha also explained that the mishap happened because nobody knew that Kanye’s verse was going to be edited out. Read the whole interview here. [Hip Hop Wired]
